General Information

CZC Dreg Discharging Device (Spent Herb Extrusion and Dehydration Equipment) is a special equipment developed by our company for the extraction process of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for automatic transportation of TCM waste residue and synchronous separation of liquid residue in the pharmaceutical industry. It solves the difficulty of removing and transporting TCM waste residue and polluting the environment which bothered pharmaceutical factories for many years. At the same time, TCM waste residue treatment is shifted from the original manual treatment to machine-controlled automatic treatment, which reduces labor intensity, improves safety performance, protects environmental hygiene, and meets GMP production and health standards.

 

Work Principle

 

When the Extraction Tank has a dreg discharge request, the Dreg Discharging Device starts to move to the bottom of the corresponding Extraction Tank, the Dreg Discharging Device stops at the designated position, and the TCM waste residue is discharged into the Dreg Discharging Device from the Extraction Tank. The Dreg Discharging Device runs to the entrance of the dreg bin after loading. The discharge motor and the extrusion mechanism are started to squeeze and discharge, to realize the simultaneous separation of the TCM solid residue and liquid residue. The squeezed residue is discharged to the dreg storage bin, the waste liquid is discharged or recovered by the pipeline, the Dreg Discharging Device is stopped after the squeezing/dreg discharge is completed, and the Dreg Discharging Device runs to the initial position and standby.
